Hmmm....that gives me an idea. Next time Nuttah wants to play TF2 I'll send some gripe water over for Fix to swig on. Ha ha ha ha :P

To be fair Overwatch was marred by the fact that I couldn't connect to any servers which was more than likely a Steam issue, I don't think it's really a 1v1 kind of game. I'll give this a(nother?) go on my own and see if I can connect to a server before we try it again.

TF2 dodgeball was amusing for 5 minutes and I suffered through it for much longer hoping for a carrot but all I got was the stick :(

Battlefield was good as usual, I'm going to aim for servers where players get banned for using tanks below a certain number of players from now on because that last round was beyond shit. Trying to defend against nothing but snipers, choppers and tanks with only a single squad against them and no vehicles is grade A stupid. I'm quite happy to dominate a team and stomp them into the ground and I'll even be a dick about it but I won't be a lame-ass tank whore just to do it. I thought we did an awesome job defending, it was just a shame the enemy team didn't mix up their tactics to give us some entertainment.

To be fair, they resorted to tanks and stuff once they realised they couldn't get passed. We were under estimated, so they over compensated. Lame but getting called a 'lame gustav camper' by someone (who incidentally was level 50 and was level 4 vet status) who likes to sit in a chopper killing the 4-strong opposing team isn't really an insult, so neither is getting beat by them. If anything is was amusing. I had some good rounds.

I'll opt more for hardcore now though as the no-death-cam is just better.

Agreed, I'll see if I can get a few games on, might be on mumble but not talking, BC2 always makes me cream myself, might even invest in subsequent sequels if it continues to be good.

I actually liked that campaign.

It helped that I knew the first level was a nightmare going in (read the reviews) so it wasn't as surprising+frustrating for me as much as you lot thought.

The needless deaths can be annoying, but action and reflex elements do help a game interesting. The more annoying thing for me was bits of the level being poorly designed.

Aye, good to be back.

Took me a few rounds to warm up the old bones, but once I started storming stuff instead of hanging back I was racking up 3-4 kill streaks on a regular basis.

The sniping glitching the fence was highly irritating.

Yeah, good games last night. Rocket boy was in da house! I couldn't believe how many kills I was getting with the rocket launcher! It really needs an assault guy backing me up with ammo though. I think we should maybe try working as a squad with one of each class but sticking really close together and advancing slowly, using rockets and sniper fire to suppress and take out the enemy while the assault and medic keep the squad healed and supplied and alternate between covering the rear and laying down extra fire on the enemy. Most of the times we get taken out is because the squad have split apart too far. We can even do this with two squads as long as we communicate properly on mumble.
