I still intend to attend. Might arrange a drop off instead of biking it now though. would still appreciate a loner rig just to save me some hassle. Again happy to hot seat it, and can bring my own sleeping bag and or - bed / tent. whatever is best.

Yeah as in something I can lone for the shenanigans for a night. Like I said though happy to hot seat it as well.

All I have is a small laptop, it will plug into the TV but it's only just fast enough to play L4D really.

Hmm....I've only got the one games capable machine too. I don't even think I could cobble one together or borrow one from work as anything I have available would probably struggle even at L4D, maybe even Left4Typo the text-based adventure spin-off!

We could use games consoles and hot-seat it depending on the game/s. I could also possibly cobble together an arcade machine using a Raspberry Pi so we could have some old skool arcade action if we have enough gamepads. HAppy to look into this if there's an interest.

I have a few components that would create a reasonable PC, 1.5 processor, nVidea BFG card, spare HDD but I'm missing a few things like a PSU and RAM sticks, all peripherals. It'd also mean installing an OS and finding all the correct drivers before 23rd May too.... I don't think I could commit to that as all my spare time is taken up with wedding stuff at the moment.

The lappy sounds the best option, get Aggs Steam login installed on there, pre-install L4D... would it run Civ? PoE is scaleable isn't it? Plus we can setup some of my old games I've been looking at on there as well as Megadrive emulator for 2 player Streets of Rage (I have this)

Will do, not sure what to bring for beer though, didn't get a new batch done in time as I was ill so may just bring a few bottles of what I already have. Not planning to get blotted anyway myself so there should be plenty!

There's also the home made cider which I still haven't dared to try yet as I'm actually quite terrified how bitter it will be. Advice was to barrel it up and forget about it and drink it when I find it and can't remember what it is

I've learned this weekend that the 40th birthday party I'm going to on the Sunday starts a couple of hours earlier than we though so I'll need to be gone on Sunday by about 9am, its a 2 hour drive to get there - So I'm not being rude but I'll need to clear up and scoot first thing. I'm sure Mach won't mind this though, in fact probably prefer it

I'll be travelling to Liverpool Friday, be staying there, was probably gonna get the train from there to near yours.
