Enemy Territoy : Quake Wars

Full game is released.

Of the gameplay:

Fast paced, classic assault style objective based maps with classes. As I said it’s extremely intuitive, and once you get the controls down, everything is second nature, anything you forget is prompted on-screen in a case sensitive way, that always makes sense.
Each match consists of a few rounds, where one side attempts to complete set objectives, while the other tries to stop them, there is no switching afaik, so the terms are set.

Controls & Interface

Controls can be customized, and you can set more than one hotkey each per command. The interface works perfectly, with a lot of customization allowed as well just like with controls, all the information you need is readily available when needed, and even making a fireteam is simple.
The radar is minimal, avoiding clutter, much like the rest of the UI, only showing essential info.
You are never lost as a click of a key, cycles you through a list of Set and Dynamic objectives. Some you can do every round, others class based, and yet more called in from players (repair my tank etc) all highlighted with on screen waypoints.

Your Soldier.

The classes work well, and no class feels underpowered or useless, especially as at different times in the round, the objectives are centered on a certain class. For instance, the start of the round sees Engineers needing to build a bridge, once done, spies must hack a building, after which soldiers must detonate a generator…. even when it’s not your class needed everyone has plenty to offer the team.
As you play through the rounds you can gain extra tools, and weapon perks if you perform well (grenade launcher attatchment, repair special etc), I’m not 100% sure but I assume this will be saved much the same way as Battlefield, so going back to a regular server will see you with all your unlocks ready to use. Also, other modes most likely offer everything unlocked to everyone.

Technical.

I did have a few teething problems with the settings, and an occasional crash, not being able to run the game at it’s fullest without an amazing amount of lag and jarring, keeping toward the lower end ran the game fine though. I’m pretty sure this is lack of optimization at the moment or something to do with dual core processors, will confirm this later though.
Download is 750meg, and the install is a little bigger.
